Ziment's founder, Larry Ziment, stepped into the world of marketing research in 1952, at Alfred Politz, Inc. After gathering a wealth of experience with the then pioneers in the world of marketing research (including Pillsbury and General Cigar), Larry established Ziment in 1976.

Larry was dedicated to ensuring Ziment focused on marketing-oriented and strategic research long before these phrases became industry buzzwords. His mission was to re-establish higher standards for research and to return the industry to its original purpose: better marketing decisions.

Larry's legacy lives on today in our exacting standards, creative energy, and drive to provide clients with useful decision-making information.

 

Milestones

Ziment has grown from a small family business to one of the four largest international healthcare marketing research organizations in the world. Over the years this has meant a great deal of hard work to establish and maintain the reputation we now enjoy for providing our clients with high-quality marketing research across the world.

Ziment has achived many milestones in our history. We entered Honomichl's* list of the top 50 US research organizations in 1999, and by 2000 we had reached number 36 as the fastest-growing company in its field. In May of the following year we were acquired by WPP, leaders in Advertising, Branding and Marketing. We joined WPP's research arm, The Kantar Group, to specialize in the provision of strategic healthcare marketing research services worldwide.
